"Very nice rooms, staff and location. The rooftop bar and grill is worth a look. The bartender were friendly and the drinks were tasty. It’s an additional $90 for overnight valet parking, but it’s San Francisco. If you’re in town for a Giants game, the walk to the park is an easy one."

"Its an old hotel, but it was perfect for a short trip. Close to the Wharf, Pier and Chinatown. Big Bus tour is close by. It was awesome. "

"Was great for what we needed. An older building on the edge of Union Square. Would stay again for a long weekend. Few amenities but breakfast pastries and coffee were perfect for our start of the day. Clean and friendly."

"Columbus Inn was perfect. Situated between Fisherman’s Wharf and North Beach. Easy, early check-in. Woman ( Layda?) at front desk was so nice and accommodating. Rooms are really clean. It’s an older hotel, but it’s been updated. Felt very safe and we loved the free parking. Walked everywhere from the hotel and cable car end line is one block over. No refrigerator, but there is a coffeemaker. "

"Great older style hotel. The room was very homey and comfortable with a fireplace. Good breakfast and excellent staff. Nice wine and cheese in the afternoon. Excellent location near restaurants, Union Sq and the BART /Muni. Curtis gave great service at check-in and recommended very good restaurants. We will surely return on our next visit to SF."

"It was what we expected : ) Location was great (used to live next door at 999 Bush), enjoyed the painted details, left too early for breakfast, staff were helpful & friendly, parking as it is in SF. Overall a fine stay :) "
