"The spa was perfectly maintained, perfect temperature and very clean. Breakfast had everything we wanted and the staff taking care of us were great. We will certainly stay there again if we are in the area."
"I really liked this hotel. I was a little skeptical at first cuz of how small the room I got was but it was actually a decent room. The staff was really nice and helpful any time I went up to ask a question and they were also really understanding when I apologized for staining a pillow case with my dyed hair. Parking was a pretty rough cuz there was a lot of people staying there at the same time as us and we often didn’t get back from our daily activities till later and there was usually only one or two parking spots on the other side of the building from where our room was. Aside from the parking troubles we really enjoyed our stay here."
"I love the room and the breakfast snacks! I appreciate that they actually served freshly cut fruits for breakfast. Most hotels just proved sad orange, banana and apples. Here, we got freshly-cur berries.
The property is nice and clean. There are bathrooms in the common area (I like this part a lot!) Also, great location! Close to most tour providers and attractions in the Pictured Rock National Lakeshore. Both popular “pasty” bakeries (Muldoon’s and Miners) are nearby. The on-site restaurant, Tracey’s, was amazing. We ate there 2 nights in a row. The cocktails were well crafted. The view was amazing!
10/10 would return. We had a great time in UP!"
"Really nice older property with great harbor views. Very relaxing and convenient. The only ding is the “breakfast” which really was coffee and danish. Not adequate."
"Throw back to the classic motels. Right near all the waterfalls and Pictured Rocks. Basic room with a view and a door to the lakeside. Room was clean, continental breakfast was fine, something to get started each day and the coffee was great. Bathroom was clean but will need some updating soon. Desk staff was polite and helpful. We would stay here again!"
"A nice place to rest your head. The pool looked like fun for the kids. Nice lobby area with couches and chairs. Perfect distance from Munising town and hiking."
Boarders Inn & Suites by Cobblestone Hotels - Munising
8/10 Good
"There is no elevator on the premises and if you have the second-floor rooms you have to lug your luggage up the stairs. Overall, the experience was satisfying. The room was clean and well kept. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast bar was well maintained and offered a variety of options."
"Our stay was great. It was clean and staff were helpful but not up front friendly like five star places. Bed was not plush but be both slept well. It was not a five star hotel. But the price point is fair for what you get."
