"Selected this property because of its overall favorable rating. You see reviews where the conditions or situations seem beyond belief or exaggerated for effect, this was not our experience. Initially our room seemed fine, ac was on but bathroom was hot. (Note we were on the top floor, outside temp of 100 degrees heat index of 108) We were pressed for time as we had a business meeting to attend not giving the situation further consideration. "The staff and location of the hotel was excellent, especially the front desk employees and the very friendly and efficient lady who worked at the breakfast buffet - she was our favorite! The drawback of this property is the age of the hotel and the fact is has not been updated in a very long time. Our hallway had a funny smell from damp, aging carpet. In the room we did not have a towel to put down outside the shower, our hair dryer was broken, and we only received one tiny bar of soap in the...

"Pool closed half our time there. We've had better breakfasts but I did like the waffles in the shape of the State of Texas. Good location."

"Everything was great during my stay at Fairfield. Breakfast was good the staff was friendly and polite. The grounds were well kept. Other than you having to get staff to open gym for you I didn’t find anything wrong. I will start there on my next trip in that area."

"Honestly this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed ! The restrooms , beds and towels were so dirty , truly if you like cleanliness then don’t stay here . I was forced to stay here for the event connect soccer playoff the other hotel was way expensive so I chose this but I could not leave after Checkin since we had to stay at one of the required hotel to play in the ECNL playoff at fort worth . Everything is nasty in this place . Look for other place ."

"We found two roaches in our room. We asked and were granted a late checkout the night before. The morning of, housekeeping and hotel other staff knocked and called, disturbing quiet time with our young children telling us it was past checkout. Late checkout was at noon. Housekeeping came at 10, the phone call and other knock came at 11."
