"Cruising from Tilbury so looking to drive up from Bristol the day before and find a nearby B&B. Found the Campanile on Expedia based on price and distance. Read the reviews and thought "How bad can it be?" Well - not bad at all! Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room for the night and extremely comfortable bed. Close to dual carriageway but we didn't notice any traffic noise. Evening meal a bit "ready-meal" but a great breakfast and late check-out if you want it. Will definitely stay again...

"Room was clean with the basics provided, including cosmetics in the bathroom, it was perfect for our needs. Air conditioning worked well but the tea / coffee was lacking milk, only two little cartons for two people for a 20 hour period. "

"Good size room, very comfy bed. Staff friendly but somewhat convoluted online check in. Water pressure was low but sufficient. Sadly no breakfast on offer currently as place is being refurbished. But in spite of the issues, I will be back when I'm in the area and see what it's like after the refurb is complete."
