"I had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Europe in Lucerne (May 29-June 1, 2026) . The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and my room offered a beautiful view that made it a pleasure to return after a day of walking the Old Towne (about 15 minute walk from hotel). The bed was comfortable, and I especially appreciated the plentiful electrical outlets, which made it easy to keep all of my devices charged. What really stood out, however, was the staff. "Like: Easy access from highway, free parking, clean room, daily room service, short drive to city center and the lake. Dislike: no coffee maker/fridge, no air conditioning. But this is not surprising for a typical ibis."

"A self-serve check-in/check out hotel. Was a very easy process. Kiosk style check-in devices in little lobby also included free storage lockers (but first-come first-served). Room was very clean. Location is only a 10 minute walk or less to the train station. Hotel is close to the Mercato Central and plenty of restaurant options. Would stay again."

"Property has no air conditioning with summers getting hotter each year, no refrigerator either. Staff were very helpful though. Hotel is not easily accessible if you plan or walking or carrying your luggage yourself."
