"Di not let them place you in a room on the entry level. You hear noise from the lobby, and they are located one floor down from a commercial gym. I could hear people running on a treadmill and the staff was aware of that issue when they placed me in the room. The lobby is almost always noisy, and if people are smoking near garage you can smell that too. I stay here only for convenience when visiting my kids who live nearby but if there were another Marriott where I could use rewards I’d go...

"The hotel is nestled into the Glover Park section of DC near Georgetown. The hotel appears to have gone through a renovation which was well done. Check in is manual, but a quick process. Our room, a King deluxe was spacious and had a small kitchen with stove, fridge and sink, so you can apparently stay long term. The corner room had a view of the Washington Monument and some very nice G-town homes next door. Bed was very comfortable and the shower excellent. Our dinner at Davino was also...

"Check in was a breeze. The staff were friendly and helpful. The property is a beautifully converted mansion. An excellent breakfast was included in the price. A great place for a weekend getaway."

"The front desk staff was very helpful during the check in process and changing of rooms. To no fault of theirs, we had to change rooms and I ended up in an hypoallergenic room which was perfect for me. Room was clean and had the most wonderful view. Room service was great."
