"Overall, this was the most unpleasant experience we’ve had at a Doubletree hotel. We enjoyed the cookies very much at all Doubletree locations. During check-in, I was not informed about on-site restaurants, bars, pool hours, facilities, or amenities included with the hotel booking. I also wasn’t guided on how to reach my room and seemed to be treated as an inconvenience when I asked questions. To make matters worse, I booked through hotels.com and believed my room would have a mountain view, as shown on the website of and app of the booking platform. If you're booking through here (hotels.com), double-check to ensure you’re getting what you expect—my room faced the parking lot and a tree. The rooms are outdated; my bathroom, in particular, seemed moldy, with mold on the ceiling and around the faucets."

"I was very disappointed based on the reviews. PROS AND CONS Pros: - beautiful property. Pool is very nice. Pickleball court is lovely, as is the sitting area beside it -location is off the main hwy so no traffic noise -rooms are suites so nice and big Cons: -I purposely chose a hotel with a restaurant. They have one, but only open 5-9 pm Tues-Sat. So not very convenient -when I checked in there was nobody at the front desk. I had to text and wait for someone to come. Most of the time there was no one in the lobby, though responses to texts were always quick -All rooms supposedly have a kitchenette (see TravelAdvisor description). Mine had a refrigerator and sink but that’s all. No dining table, utensils, not even a microwave. -all electric outlets were on one side of bedroom. Bought extension cords so the other person could plug in, but then had to duct tape it down to avoid tripping. -closet and clothes drawers both on one side of bedroom. Very small aisle between bed and closet so really only one person can use closet -you won’t believe this. The bath towels the day we checked in were threadbare; unraveling at the edges. That was just the first day, the rest of our stay they were fine. I had to ask twice to get face cloths. Needless to say we won’t be staying there again"

"Staff was awesome. Food and drinks were reasonably priced and very good. Lived the mojitos and the Mexican mules. Our only complaint, no one ever cleaned the pool or pool area and the garbages were overflowing and stuff following out. I’d see the same empty drinks and containers 2 days later"
