"Love the peacefulness of the setting, can't be beat. The wait staff at the Lodge restaurant and cafe were great. Hubby is a wheelchair user. Please, stop standing there waiting for us as we a struggling to open, hold the door open and get through the door. Helping another customer, I have no problem with you not offering an extra hand. "I am a frequent traveler and can say from experience that the room we were given was not up the expectations. Mimslyn is advertised as a quality hotel yet our bathroom was not clean. The shower floor was dirty and we complained to the front desk but we were told they were fully booked and could not move us. The desk clerk made no effort to assist us. The bar food was terrible but the Sunday brunch was worth the cost. That is our only recommendation."

Although we don't golf, the course and facilities always seem to be well-used, and guests appear to really enjoy them. "I got the handicap cabin which I’m glad about. The shower is bigger compared to the others. Be prepared to use the kitchen sink as also the bathroom sink. They had these s’more kits and enemy were yummy. They provided wood and a bundle was ceder wood & it smelled good. I asked for an extra blanket and they provided one.
