"A really unusual hotel with great design and full of vibrant color. Easy and reasonable parking right behind the hotel. Quick check-in with a pleasant staff. Wonderful bar and restaurant. My only suggestions are that the lighting is too dim to see to work your door key card and the interior light switches, and we found the breakfast service to be indifferent and our orders incorrect. A mandatory 20% tip might be why. I would definitely stay there again but have breakfast nearby."

"The property was very clean, and the staff was very friendly. Can’t recommend mixed drinks at the bar as the bartender, although friendly, didn’t do very well with my cocktail. "This is an old hotel in a lower/mid neighborhood. They don't allow bag checking or early check in. The rooms were old but clean and functional. Price is readonable. You check in through a well worn hole in the glass and must make a cash deposit of $50. Some will be put off by this but it met my needs for the price."

"A nightmare in Baltimore. Horrible experience in this hotel. They haven't done anything to the rooms in 30 years. Ugly, rusty, bathtub was full of rust and fungus. My kids didn't want to shower there. This kind of hotels shouldn't be listed on expedia."

"I arrived at the property to be told I had no reservation. The attendant said it was probably at their other location about 1/2 mile away. Went to that location and was told there was no reservation. I double checked my booking and it said it was the original location. Didn’t stay at either one. Rebooked somewhere else. Both places seem a little shady"

"The poor property condition shows a total lack of maintenance, The curtain rod was falling off the wall, there were no clothes hangers in the closet, there was no tv remote to be found, and the towels were rougher than coarse sandpaper. The neighborhood is very sketchy, filled with people who looked vagrants, drug addicts and prostitutes. The free breakfast was so bad that you would have had to pay me to eat it. I expected a great deal more for the $120/night rate. I’ve stayed at much better...
