Hotel La Quinta Inn & Suites di Birmingham

"Chose this hotel because it had cheaper rates than others of similar class in the area. The hotel is in pretty good shape except the fitness room is closed (this was listed at the time of booking) and the pool closes at 8, which makes it difficult to use if you have day plans.They have a pool lift chair but it was broken (as is usually the case in these types of motels) so we couldn’t use the pool anyway, but it did not look clean and had a green tinge to it. "We enjoyed our 1 night stay..exceeded our expectations!! Room was very clean and smelled amazing. The whole hotel smelled so clean. Room was very big and bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was pretty good and coffee was too. We would definitely stay here again"

"Bed bugs in the bed and when I switched rooms there was mold in the fridge. Never again!"

"The bed was squeaky and the rooms were dirty. The pool was not clean. There were leaks in the hallway with towels soaking up the leaks from the ceiling. The breakfast was not very good and the coffee was watered down. The staff was nice, but I would not recommend staying at this hotel."
