"Roadtrip up the coast, this may be the favorite property. Room was spacious and you can close the door between them if folks want to do different things. LOVED the happy hour. Needed a free glass of wine! After a long day it was also nice to not have to go off property for food as they offer an inexpensive bbq by the pool. Son loved the chicken sandwich. Will definitely stay again. "
"Beautiful room and decor - amazing small touches like delivering coffee and pastries in the morning, leaving a great note for mindful meditation, and a departing gift of sweets. "Love this new hotel! The lobby is spacious and has a nice bar area. The rooms are quite big, bed was very comfortable and I also liked the pillows and bedding. The bathroom was big and I liked the toiletries because they had a lavender and eucalyptus scent. Breakfast selection was ok, but not spectacular. The blueberry muffins were the best part. I’d definitely stay here again."
"Avenue Inn is an incredible deal. While the exterior is not impressive, the rooms are clean and well appointed. For the low prices they charge, Avenue offers a great deal.
And I particularly love the fact that they don't try to make it up through hidden charges. For example, at the front desk they offer $1 cans of Coke and other beverages as long as you pay cash. Presumably, they are just buying some cases cases from Costcos and reselling them for a ~50 fifty cent markup. But compare that with...
"Cute hotel. The room had a little patio in the back with chairs and a table. The bathroom could have used more hooks for towels and more counter space, but it was nice. There is a nice restaurant and bakery, I didn't eat there but it looked good. There was coffee and tea in the lobby all day (I think) and in the morning there were some prepackaged muffins and some fruit, and oatmeal packets. "
"Adorable spanish style hotel just a block from the beach, with extras like daily wine receptions, breakfast, beer and salsa in the afternoon and pie for dessert in the evening. Nice roomy jacuzzi tub. Wish the toilets weren't so low to the ground (kinder on the knees for your older clients). Dining and shopping options just outside the front door. Beautiful beach with little crowds."
