"The property is in a great location convenient walking distance to downtown. Free parking & breakfast were extra bonuses. The complimentary beverage at happy hour is a nice amenity before heading out for the evening. Many restaurant choices a safe 10-15 minute walk, 30-40 min drive to Paso Robles for Sensorio ( not to be missed) 15 min drive to the coast for beautiful beaches. I would highly recommend"

"The on-site laundry room was super helpful in the middle of a long vacation with a lot of our dirty clothes! The outdoor games and sitting area were so fun and relaxing and cute. Absolutely loved the decor of the whole place. They have a restaurant that had trivia going on while we were there and the staff was super nice!"

"Basic motel room, almost a throwback to 60’s. It was clean, soap inside dispensers was questionable. Pillows were super small. The continental take away brekkie was what it was. In and out in 16 hours. Enough said."

"The hotel is an older building, but the owners have cleaned it out and give it a more modern appearance. The facility was clean. It was a very reasonable price given the price of other hotels in town. There initially was a little road noise early in the evening, but that went away by about 8 o’clock. I would gladly recommend this hotel and plan on staying there again the next time I’m in town."

"This is merely an overpriced dumpy motel. Quite a disappointment after staying across the street in an exponentially nicer room at Applefarm inn for less! The walls are just painted white cement and the room was cluttered with three (3?!?) large dressers. Not cozy at all and not a place you want to spend any time in, and yet they charge as if it were a fancy place. The breakfast is like gas station food."

"I wish I could include a picture of the disgusting hot tub that looked like it had never been cleaned, or the dilapidated furniture that surrounded the back end of the pool area. The room itself was fine"

"I love Hotel SLO and have stayed there several times. It’s a beautiful property, in the middle of downtown, with ridiculously comfortable beds and an excellent staff. Unfortunately, the last couple times I’ve stayed there have been some maintenance issues in the rooms that have not been addressed. The door to our bathroom was very difficult to slide and all in all everything in the bathroom was loose, tired, and needed attention. It feels like Hotel SLO is riding on its laurels and not working...

"Breakfast was false advertising…there was none. the bathroom had black mold, the room door wouldn’t shut because of weatherstripping coming off and one of the lights was broken hanging off the wall. The swimming pool had clumps of hair in the bottom. Hidden fees at checkout. Spend the same at a Best Western and get a much nicer stay. Sadly this was a mistake, next we will stay elsewhere"

"The room was clean and it was relatively quiet. There was no breakfast, pool or amenities and the price was exorbitant due to the college graduation. Had to ask twice for the wifi password twice and there was no one in office working at 8am on a Monday."
