"Price was very reasonable. It is a problem that there is most of the time no one in the office. Thus, it is really difficult to address issues, particularly in the evening. The TV went out in the evening, and we decided not to bother anyone. Bed was excellent. Location is quiet. Coffee in the office is great, but it would be better in the room. Suggest installing better clothes hanging capability in room. Overall, good value."

"Positives: The room was fine. The staff is helpful as I came with the twisted ankle, he gave me the room on the first floor and brought suitcase and a bag of ice. Negatives: The ground is with potholes, drive carefully. The breakfast area is tiny. The selection is very limited even for continental. Tables were dirty. Hot water for tea wasn’t hot. There’s no usual ramp for suitcase even in front of the office"

"This is my second time staying at this hotel, as I try to visit the Berkshires at least once a year. I absolutely love it and plan to stay here whenever I return. The property is charming, with beautifully designed rooms and a cozy, inviting lobby. The rooms are stocked with Santal products, which is a nice touch. Upon check-in, guests are offered fresh water and tea, making you feel welcome right away. The hotel also has its own restaurant and bar, both of which stay open fairly late. One...

"The welcoming spaces still allowed for privacy while providing the most wonderful comforts such as cold and hot drinks, books,board games and a garden retreat. Our room could be kept at our preferred temperature with an individual, quiet cooling unit that didn't block the garden view. The morning breakfast included a delightful menu at a unique gourmet level."

"I really enjoyed my stay at the Berkshire Inn, it was safe, clean, and in a convenient part of Pittsfield. Parking was a breeze and I was comfortable in my room. I would definitely book again!"

"Hair dryer was nowhere to be found (but holder was still on the wall.) When checking in to my room, I found raisins on the desk chair (which had badly torn seat.) If it wasn't so late, I would have let left. Front desk staff were NOT available during stated hours. A neighbor in a nearby room locked himself out of his room accidentally and we both tried calling for assistance, to no avail. (At that point I REALLY wish I had left!)"

"The location was convenient for our needs. It was quiet. The listing did not let you know that you had to leave your room for your “private “ bath. The listing stated there was air conditioning, there was a fan. Wayne was friendly and personable."
