"I stayed at Chicago Hotel Collection for two nights in March and unfortunately had a very poor experience. At first the price seems attractive, but almost everything requires an additional fee. If you choose not to pay for upgrades or extra services, they place you in a very undesirable room. "The rooms only have 2 lights. One in bathroom and one in bedroom that is super super dim and can’t hardly see anything. Couldn’t make it on our first night due to flight delays and Freehand wouldn’t reimburse it and they take so long to pick up for customer service. The rooms are much smaller than described and heater/ac does not work at all. Nightstand doesn’t work and bathroom tiles are peeling and gets on your feet. Definitely not safe to walk barefooted."

If you ever wanted to visit the leaning tower of Pisa or spend your day like you are a superhero either going with gravity of fighting gravity up and downhill this is absolutely the place for you no joke your calf muscles will be insane from walking uphill from the door to the bed truly truly a great experience just got stronger leg muscles and a great view to boot"

"I checked into the hotel on March 14 around 2:00 AM due to a late flight. Unfortunately, the woman who checked me in at the front desk was very rude and unprofessional, which made for a disappointing start to my stay. That said, the hotel itself is beautiful and the property appears to be well maintained. I really liked the overall atmosphere and amenities. However, the negative experience during check-in left a bad impression, and because of that I’m not sure if I would choose to stay here...

"Staff were great! The room units for air and heat were doing their own thing, once the heat stopped blowing it was freezing in the room and the shower leaked on the bathroom floor. Had to use lots of towels everyday. "
