"Breakfast was ok the fruits were fresh but the gallo pinto to dry. The rooms are big but outdated. No air conditioning. The surrounds are beautiful. If you don’t need air conditioned you will be fine. The bed is not comfortable neither the pillows. "

"Clean rooms and friendly staff. La Fortuna is about a 30 min drive. The friendly (Giovanni and Louis) make the drive worth it. We were able to spot sloth from the facility (guess we were lucky). I would definitely recommend it if you are on a budget. "

"This stay was perfect for us, the A/C works perfectly, the shower water was spectacular. We were only here for one night since we just needed a stay that would get us closer to our next stop and didn’t want to drive late at night but we definitely wouldn’t mind staying longer to relax. The host is very friendly and kind she goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed! "

"We could not be happier with our stay at the tree houses! We stayed for 3 nights. The staff was incredible. Coffee delivered every morning to our balcony so we could watch and listen to the animals, a great breakfast prepared every morning, and a night hike that we really enjoyed. The staff was incredibly helpful in booking excursions which were so fun. We took a day trip with Juan Carlos and saw so many things in a day that would have taken us 3 days otherwise. We 100% recommend to stay here. "

"Rooms are old and bathrooms doesn’t flush properly. There are no other attractions around and have to go to la fortuna for any activity which is an hour drive. The resort is good with thermal spas and pools ."

"We loved staying at Chachagua and would highly recommend it to anyone considering. The property is sprawling, with so much available onsite to enjoy. We took advantage of the coffee and chocolate tour, the cooking class, and the night tour on property. All were excellent. Additionally, Chachagua’s location is perfect for seeing Costa Rican wildlife. In less than 48 hours, we saw nearly everything we had only hoped we would see. "We had a wonderful 3-night stay at Oro Verde! Everything was in excellent condition and the place is very well-maintained. We loved the fact that when we arrived the property had a nice pool that we weren’t expecting, so it was a great surprise! The property is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by nature and at the same time the location is incredibly convenient, just 15-minute drive to La Fortuna. Our experience was great from start to finish!"
