"This property has an incredible view of the volcano and the most amazing trails right on the property. The property is full of wildlife, and we were able to watch spider monkeys swinging from the trees from the balcony of our room, as well as watch a variety of native birds and other native creatures without going anywhere else. "I have powerful dislike of this place. The fridge didn't work. The TV didn't work. The walls leaked water. And they have signs saying you can't put toilet paper in the toilet?? That's not a question, those signs do exist. The grounds are very nice but the cabins aren't. I know it's cheap, but there's a reason."

"Schönes Zelt mitten im Regenwald. Die Anfahrt war allerdings etwas anstrengend. Deshalb sind wir auch beide Tage dort geblieben und haben vor Ort Wanderungen gemacht oder waren am Pool. Der ist klein, aber sehr hübsch angelegt. Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Wifi nur im Hauptgebäude. "

"Very centrally located. Great staff. Rooms overlook forest and farm. Floors can get slippery with all the condensation. They provided umbrella in room which came in handy. Breakfast was just ok. They have an egg station to make your eggs the way you want. Fresh fruit and coffee. Very minimal options for Gluten Free. Pool is nice and central and open from 9 am to late at night. Offers beverages and food at the pool and has great Spa amenities.if I were to stay in Lafortuna again I would stay...

"Stayed for 5 days with 3 little kids. Free breakfast is for 2 only, then pay 10$ for each extra person. Pretty nice place, however no pool or hot spring on site. It's near red frog restaurant and Tita Rosa soda. We would still go back."

"The property itself is beautiful and well maintained. I really enjoyed the trails and bird watching tower. Everyone on staff was amazing as well. Reception was so helpful in planning my itinerary and arranging transportation. The on site tour guides were knowledgeable and passionate about their work. The food was delicious with lots of vegan options. My only minor suggestion for improvement is that the spa should be moved away from the pool area as it gets a bit noisy. Overall though, I loved...
