"Our stay at the Carmel Apartments in Falkirk was a wonderful reminder that you should never judge a book by its cover—or in this case, an apartment! From the outside it looked fairly ordinary, but stepping inside was a completely different story. The apartment was modern, spacious, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. One feature that made my day was the washer-dryer combo, iron and ironing board which is always a welcome luxury when you're several weeks...

"The apartment is located at a convenient location which we liked. However since there’s no AC, we had to keep the windows open all the time which makes it noisy at night on some nights. The front desk staff could use some more training - the main reason I didn’t like this place as much. We were reminded 3 times to only ask for things in the morning as the cleaning people leave at 4 pm daily. The first day we checked in was already past 4 so they were not happy when I went and told them we are...

"There is no parking for this place. The parking that they list on their email is only for permit holders. This greatly reduced my rating. The apartment itself could use a good deep clean. Tons of dust, the couch was covered in stains, the blanket on the couch was very smelly and dirty. The location is okay, far walks and bus rides to everything. "

"I loved my stay at the Brae. It was the perfect place to get over jet lag as I embarked on a one-month vacation of the U.K. It’s a couple of miles outside of town, and the bus to downtown stops right in front of the house, which was perfect. Very comfortable for sleeping. Having a bath tub to soak in after a day full of walking was heaven. Graeme was an extremely welcoming and informative host. Definitely recommend t He Stay at the Brae."
