"Clean room, great staff, only issue is door didn't lock when outside of room. Only stayed a single night but would be a major concern if staying multiple nights"

"Close to airport"

"Great bar and food at the restaurant. A bit disappointed that the pool and spa closed at 8pm. After our long drive from Skye, we were looking forward to a soak. Liked we could catch the shuttle to the airport. "

"The room was clean and functional. I wouldn't say it was over characteristic just a simple hotel room. The room had a bath and a shower which was nice! The breakfast was good; there was always a selection of different foods, from cooked to Continental. The pool was warm; however, the jacuzzi jets weren't on (couldn't work out how to turn them on) but the steam room was lovely and had a pepperminty smell. Overall, lovely and would stay again!"

"Beautiful property"

"Clean room; but noisy with street level late night noise of people yelling on a Thursday night even with windows closed & drapes drawn. We were placed on 2nd floor & noise carried up; waking us up including my light sleeper spouse at 1am. 2 maintenance issues: The shower door leaked out water to the bathroom floor- found the plastic door stripping was in need of replacement which was peeling off. The room drapes appeared ready to fall off the rod- difficult to close/open as these are 10 feet...

"Great petite queen room (#22) with terrific view of Dean’s Village. We stayed May 1-4 and though the weather was chilly (lows in the upper 30’s) the temperature in the room was made perfect with the window cracked. One warning, the tile on the bathroom floor is very slick. The library on the first floor (actually the second) is a wonderful place to enjoy a quiet moment. The concierge was both the barkeep and in charge of checking folks into their rooms on the first night, but she had a lovely...

"Good value, exceptional service. Has the base amenities needed in a convenient location to setup a home base for touring Edinburgh. The smaller rooms are ideal for active on-the-go singles or couples traveling light and need a clean room to cover basic needs."

"Staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had an early flight out the next morning so didn’t get to enjoy breakfast. They did off to bring us a little breakfast tray early, but sadly they must have forgot as we never got it. But the room was beautiful, had a cute nespresso machine in it and the bed was comfy. Overall a lovely stay! "

"Not a 4 star standard of service or rooms. Not fully accessible to the road and buses etc. Staff extremely variable. Some friendly and efficient others disinterested and don’t deliver. For example empty handed staff walk down corridors littered with ice buckets plates etc and do nothing about it for hours. If you are going to use TV for all coms and info at least leave a single sheet to guide & help direct clients to it and ensure the tv remote works. Fun being woken up by Gibbons in adjacent...
