The bill also stated we made purchases from the gift shop, which we did not. We did not notice the charges until we reviewed the itemized bill. We will never stay here again."

"This property had the potential to be excellent with all the palm trees, the name was ideal (Negril Palms). Upon arrival, right by the door entrance is machinery covered with blue tarp. Hence, the first impression implied ‘we don’t care’. Our family were attending a funeral, and 11 members stayed at Negril Palms. It was shocking that we all had similar experiences. "The staff are very friendly - but sparse. It was a once lovely property with a great location on the beach. While the rooms are lovely (ocean view), the pool needs maintenance and the hot tub broken. It is clear the owners are not properly maintaining it - the cabanas are rotting with moldy mattresses. "Honestly, if you’re not looking for something extremely lavish but still cozy for a nice trip to Jamaica, I’d recommend this place. They have events different days of the week and it’s right on the beach so you don’t have to leave the resort too much unless you’re exploring with the locals. I’d definitely stay here again."
