"The only reason I am not rating excellent is the laundry machine is wash only. Worked out for me as I had time to air dry. The location is fantastic if you use the train. Easy in and out. Great stay."

"We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms!"

"Lovely hotel with lovely staff. The room was good, can tell it's an old building as the floor was not level, which effected the bed, but was still okay. The amenities were good, our coffee machine wasnt working, but when i saw one of th The hotel has very little parking, enough for 5/6 cars, however there is a public car park right next to the hotel, which is free for an overnight stay. Check in was smooth."

"Owner was very responsive in bringing iron and hair dryer for us to use. (Hair dryer was dirty and smelled of wet dog—bring your own!). I bit small and funky but served our purpose. It was clean and owner was responsive. Easy check in but a bit tricky finding the place at first. Nice location for day trips and hikes."

Potential guests should be aware that you will have to climb narrow stairs, and there is no lift. Also, those addicted to air conditioning. should know that the upstairs rooms can get warm. "Lovely Village location, and quaint accommodation. I stayed in one of the rooms round the corner from the pub. It was a ground floor room with large bathroom. Things to note: No contact details in the room for reception / pub staff (same thing) No Wi-Fi details - had to go to pub and wait until the barman was free to ask. Only just enough toilet roll for one night for one person (not going to the pub to ask out loud) No plugs near the kettle so had to plug it in on the floor by the door. Food...
