"It was a good location. That's why we chose it. But it was very "bare bones." The soap/shampoo in the shower was awful. There was a smell of smoke even though I thought we had a non smoking room. And when we woke up there was no hot water. It was remedied after my husband went to speak to the front desk. I would say the bathroom.waa clean but the shower has mold in it."

"We paid over $200 per night for what felt like a $70 motel. The rooms and bathrooms were very old, and the bathroom had a strong smell of mold or mildew. Overall, the room was definitely not worth the price. Check-in was also chaotic, with several unhappy customers waiting and complaining. The dining room offered a very expensive breakfast, but the quality was more like a basic diner. We actually had a much better and cheaper breakfast at a lovely place in Cambria. "4th Of July Weekend I Liked That Check In Was Quick And Simple. However Finding Mold On My Toilet Paper Is Something I Didnt Appreciate. Went To Show Front Office And The Gentleman Seemed Unbothered By It. All He Could Do Was Hand Me A New One With No Apology. Crazy. Cheap Amenities And Careless Staff."

"The room was great, the staff was delightedly helpful and breakfast was good. The only thing that I think could be improved is the landscaping and the look of it from the front. We were a little concerned when we drove up because it looks rather rundown and unkempt. Once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly surprised at how helpful the gentleman at the desk was and how lovely our room was."

"The rooms are small. One of the two double beds was up against the AC unit. The shower was worn and moldy. Pillows were lumpy, and each person gets one. Only two small bath towels per room, so you have to ask for more. It was better than camping at least, and the best motel in King City."

"Customer service is kind of going downhill. We were at the pool and no one came to ask if we wanted a cocktail or something to eat. Then my husband went and ordered a drink and it took forever. We also went to the restaurant on site and the service was very poor. We stayed at the Ava hotel which is now the completion to this hotel and service was amazing and hotel is beautiful so Allegretto needs to rebrand their services."
