"The room is good and of a reasonably high standard. There are however two major challenges. The room was on the top floor which from the car park is three flights of stairs. A lot when you’re carrying several large bags and clothes for a wedding. The second big issue is the hall lights on a sensitive room sensor. There is no way to switch this off or lights off. Trendy bar/lounge area and bedroom very nicely appointed with very comfortable bed and pillows. Lovely en suite and nice toiletries and fluffy towels/ dressing gowns. Floors could have been cleaner as could Bar area. Convenient parking 5 mins walk away at Cabot Circus multi storey. Useful to note that the Hotel Entrance is on Cave Street ( off Portland Square) Not Portland Square itself."

I was a little startled to find something curly and hairy on the bathroom counter when I checked in , but it turned out to be just an old eyelash. Additionally, the bath towels were old and stiff.
