"The breakfast was decent. There was a roach that my mom saw in our room 2 times. And I had a ant in mine. Like usual with most hotels, I found some stains on the comforter. Thats why I never use them in hotels, cuz I know more than likely they are rarely cleaned. And that maybe the same with the sheets. I always look for signs of uncleanliness."

"The room was clean and comfortable. I love the non-carpeted floors, so clean! The only tiny thing was that the toilet tank lid had a crack in it and should be replaced. Not a big deal and I didn't even mention it to the staff assuming that every time the bathroom was cleaned, the crack was seen. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast had a nice variety of egg dishes and breads and muffins. "

"Good experience. Very short stay, but the staff were friendly and the facilities were clean. The hotel is on the older side but everything was well kept. Would book again. "

"Our multiple night stay was excellent! The staff was welcoming and very helpful! If we could, we would give staff member EJ ten stars!! He was awesome! He gave us helpful tips navigating DC, gave us a list of places to eat; was just overall helpful and patient with our questions. The hotel was very clean and pleasant overall. It was a short drive from DC, yet just far enough. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!"

"The staff was so kind in holding my personal items until my room was ready. They found a cup to put my flowers in water and used their fridge to hold my salmon pasta. May seem small but the level of hospitality was huge for me. "

"Lisa at the reception desk was lovely. She was so helpful, kind and professional. It was a great start to my stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower had a nice, forceful stream of water which is always nice. I would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Going through some renovation as of March 2026 but the room and bathroom were clean, the complimentary breakfast was plentiful and a good start to the day, and the staff were helpful and nice. Parking was easy around the building. "

"It's extremely loud from the highway traffic( plumbing is terrible- every time someone flushes or runs water I could hear it through my room"

"The room was great with a couple of extras (water, candy, robes, slippers) that made our stay better. The bedding was very comfortable. The location was amazing and easy to get around!! We had breakfast 1morning and it was fantastic! Totally recommend it. I wish we did more. We would definitely stay at The Archer Hotel again!! "

"Our trouble started when we went to our room. The door would not open. I had to use my body to get the door open since we were in we agreed to wait til morning to report the problem. We turned the heat on as it was cool in the room, got ready for bed and then the heater started making a banging noise. Needless to say we did not sleep well. The next morning we reported the problems, were told someone would fix them and off we went. Upon return we were happy to see that the door opened much...
