"From the moment we arrived the staff couldn’t do enough for us. They let us check in even though we were slightly early and they changed the room to a ground floor one so we didn’t have to climb the stairs. The room was perfect. Clean, spacious and welcoming. "The property could use an upgrade- especially the bathrooms. Rooms were very small. The best part of our stay were the front of house staff who were excellent - they went out of their way to be helpful and were very friendly. In the mornings - they seemed to be understaffed - the front desk were required to help with the breakfast. The cleaning staff were new (?) and only made beds and picked up towels - did not clean the bathrooms and missed one day completely."

"A very dated hotel. Welcome at reception luke warm with a team that seem disinterested in providing a welcoming friendly greeting to arriving guests. Many windows broken, rooms in need of a deep clean and refresh. Small amounts of mould and poorly repaired sealant in bathrooms. Towels and bed linen clean. There is very much a vibe of “how little can we do to maintain the hotel, how cheaply can we do this repair, how little can we pay and invest in our employees”. And that approach shows....

"Room was a little dated. Not the most comfortable bed and a little noisy as on the road. Would have expected a little more for price paid although room was very large. Check in staff friendly and helpful and food was decent for the price."
