"Well maintained and in a great location. Staff were really friendly and provided good local knowledge to enhance our stay. The breakfast was first class and available until late morning. Staff offered to hold luggage on our last day at no additional cost which was a nice touch. Has a beer garden which is lit up at night and a good selection of beers/cider and wine etc. Would definitely visit again!"

"The family room was on the 3rd floor with two windows which were in poor condition. Only one was safe to open. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. The breakfast was very good as was the restaurant where we had dinner one evening. Staff were always very helpful and polite."

"The room was clean and check in was uneventful. However the room was ridiculously hot and must be an issue that the property were well aware of as there were 2 large floor fans in the room which did little to alleviate the issue. The bathroom was like a sauna. Breakfast was lovely and the staff lovely but I would never stay here again."

"The hotel was clean and we had a warm welcome at reception. The decor is dated, but signs suggest that the carpets would be replaced soon. Walking to Arundel was possible, but hampered by the area around the hotel not being pedestrian friendly."

"We had such a lovely stay at Drakes hotel. We stayed on the top floor with the balcony and had the most incredible view of the sea. It was very relaxing waking up to this. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Really close to the pier and the lanes. We will definitely be back"
