The downside, as others have stated, is that the rooms are small; two of us couldn't open our suitcases at the same time. "Great location. Walking distance to SoHo and Theater District. Works well for business or vacation travelers. The club room with tables, couches and work stations and a capuchin machine was a plus as well as free laundry services."

"View over Waterloo station, no river view. One missing bulb in room. TV channels had flakey reception. Breakfast average and on an industrial scale setting with little charm. Spa not open. Room was quiet and good bathroom. Why safe has to be at floor level I do not know. Functional and near Station but in a charmless district."
