"A functional place to stay, but more akin to a smart hostel or shared student accomodation in a small, modern terraced house ,rather than a hotel. Be prepared to ponder if you are entering a modern terrace house with nothing identifying it as a place for you to stay. It was clean, well decorated inside.Neither my bedroom tv worked for more than a few minutes without switching itself off,nor would the kitchen tv actually switch on.I stayed on a bank holiday,so it wasn'tcheap for what it...

"I was very disappointed. The TV in my room didn’t stream any channels and the wifi was unreliable. The fridge smelled and the door to my balcony area was streaked with mud. The stair carpet was filthy & the lounge had 3 large mattresses leaning against a wall. I stipulated that I wanted accommodation without stars in my booking, but was given a room on the 1st floor, with the bathroom situated on the ground floor. Essentially it felt like a refurbished student house and the photos on the website...

"Because it was above a restaurant / bar, there was a lot of noise up at least 11 pm and probably beyond (we were exhausted on arrival from NA, so were able to sleep). The next 2 nights the restaurant was closed, but there were doing construction until past midnight with hammering and lots of noise. Not nice. Also, it was impossible to check in early. The hotel portion is above the restaurant / bar that is not open until 3 pm. We didn't realize this, so had to travel around with our suitcases...

"I stayed at Victoria Inn for a couple of days during the week, as I just needed somewhere to sleep. The purpose was functional and the hotel delivered against the expectation, no thrills, no spills, just a room and nice staff."
