"We've been staying at Hotel Burbank twice a year for at least 3 or 4 years. It has everything going for it EXCEPT they will not give you daily room cleaning service. All I really want is fresh towels and wastebaskets emptied. I don't think this is asking too much. Hotels did this before Covid, but now they are iffy because it saves them money by hiring fewer staff. Hotel Burbank tells you that all you need to do is request service the day before you want. So on check in, I ask and they assure me they are noting it down and it doesn't happen! I end up calling the front desk or stopping people servicing the empty rooms to get fresh towels. On the other hand, I'm saving money on the tip I put out that never gets picked up because no one comes. The location is great -- you can walk to nice restaurants and shops. The hotel itself offers some decent food choices. I'd give it higher marks if they would simply fulfill their promise of serving the room."

"This is an inexpensive motel by L.A. standards and the room was clean. However, the bathtub drain did not work well, so water began filling the tub at the beginning of my shower, so I didn't finish. The front desk offered to send a maintenance man, but I declined as it was 11 p.m. Also, the walkway to the elevator is outside and dark, so it's not secure, and the inside of the elevator was dirty."

"It’s great iconic hotel. I do have to say it is quite outdated which I did figure but the amenities were not the best and the staff didn’t know basic things about the hotel for example where the ice machine was. But charging 75 a day to keep your car on the property was one of the most egregious things of the trip. I get paid parking the hotel I work at does it but 75 a night… that is definition of gouging your guests. Maybe tie in free or discounted parking for guests. Room was clean and tidy. Restroom was shockingly small though."

"We did not have breakfast. the room was quiet. The A/C worked well. The bed (king size) is only accessible from one side as the other side and the head and foot of the bed are against the wall. You have to climb over the other person to get in and out of bed"
