"Excellent location and the rooms were perfect. Very modern and large for Europe. We had to change rooms though because the first one smelled like mould. They were accommodating though. The second room was fine. The breakfast was plentiful and well stocked. More than continental. Beware they is a room tax. It was higher than expected. But other than that this is a great hotel and not too far from the main attractions. "

"This hotel was in a unique location. The streets are guarded by timed entry, which made it confusing to get to the parking. The hotel staff was helpful with this experience. The breakfast was quite costly for typical offerings, but the setting was very elegant. The bed was comfortable and clean. "

"The hotel is right next to the Zaandam train station and only 2 stops away from Amsterdam Central. If you are looking for a clean hotel, right next to shopping and dining and outside the busy city nights, this place is great. There is a shopping strip right near the hotel, with bars and dining options a 5 minute walk away. They have bicycles for use and getting back and forth from Amsterdam was a 11 minute train ride. "This is a beautiful property in a historic building near the water. The staff were very friendly and helpful and gave us a warm welcome to the hotel. The location is fantastic for connections to the tram and bus lines going to Centraal Station. Breakfast buffet was very good with many options. The rooms and common areas are filled with character, the beds were the most comfortable of our trip. Would definitely stay again!"

"Everything about this property was beautiful. We had a lovely attic room and lovely helped carry our luggage up the steep stairs for us. the restaurant down below the hotel had fantastic food and the service in both areas was amazing. They also supplied a coupon for coffee and a pastry across the street each day that we stayed in a funky little coffee shop, as well as providing bikes that we rode every day. I would recommend this little boutique property to anybody"
