"Beautiful hotel right in the middle of Bath. Access was an issue with a stroller, as there are 4 or 5 steps to enter the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful though and the rooms were clean and updated. There is no parking on site and unloading the car was a bit of an issue."

"After a lovely welcome I was upgraded to a bigger bedroom which was light and airy with a really comfortable bed. I knew breakfast was in the room but there was a table and chairs and the fridge was packed with fresh milk, orange juice, yogurts and bread. There was a good choice of cereals, jams etc and there was fresh ground coffee, teabags and hot chocolate available. This is a 2 minute walk from the station and about 5 minutes into Stamford so really handy I had a meal in the restaurant...

"The room was clean, with everything needed for a short stay. The range of hot chocolates, tea, coffes and biscuits was a lovely touch. The free breakfast offered in the morning was great quality, with a wide range of choices. The hotel is situated above an amazing pub, which has a amazing beer garden. I would highly recommend for the price. "

"Accessible room was perfect. I chose not to have breakfast so not able to comment on breakfast or bar area, because fir my visit I was visiting family and had lots of activities planned with them. Room was clean and the walk in shower in the accessible room so much better than trying to climb into lowered bath to have a shower. "

"The Talbot Hotel is a very quaint hotel. It’s location in Oundle is ideal and central. The courtyard is a great place to soak up the sun with a cold beverage. Dorotha and Aaron were a pleasure to deal with, as were all staff. Enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location."
