"1 night stay and since I arrived late, I like the ability to still be able to access the building. The room was a good size. I wasn’t that pleased about the shower room. I feel like you shouldn’t be able to see under the shower doors (privacy)."

"I have stayed here for 20 years, it was The Opal and it has been gorgeously remodeled but has all the things I love before. In and out enclosed parking, Mel’s Diner attached so food mostly anytime, comfortable beds👍, conveniently located at Van Ness and Geary Street so Ubers and cabs etc are easy. Tommy’s Joint an SF favorite for great food, beer and cocktails across the street. And a big movie theater practically next door. Very reasonable price for how nice it is now."

They had a cappuccino machine and coffee and I would just sit there and it was so pretty great locations walk out the door and there’s all the little malls for Japan town. I love shopping in the little malls, it was so cute. There was so many cool stuff locations fantastic and all the staff were so friendly and helpful and nice. I’ll definitely stay there again. "Hotel Carlton aces all the basics for a great price. The bed is comfy. Rooms are remodeled with mid-century decor. Plenty of towels, soaps, and tissues are provided. Every room has a fridge, and kettles are available by request. The staff is friendly too. The location is central, although you must know Found Hotel Carlton is on the edge of the tenderloin, so the homeless and local business conditions reflect that. "Around 40 minutes from the airport and only a few blocks from the metro station. Everything you need is a few minutes walk from the hostel. Property is a great deal and was safe.
