"I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had a 3 year old and an 8 month old travelling with us and required additional items due to it being super cold and raining. The manager is non responsive after numerous follow ups including bot emails and phone calls. Book somewhere else! Feeding the ducks and fish is a nightmare, there are no steps down, it’s super slippery, the ducks snip at your feet as they know your coming to feed them and won’t leave you alone. I ended up taking a huge fall due...

"Loved our honeymoon stay here! Perfect home base for a week of exploring the area. Loved the pool and especially loved the amazing generous and delicious free breakfast every morning! The only issue we had were tiny ants in our room that made a few surfaces unusable, and we had to be very cautious not to prepare food in the room. But we understand that’s normal in the jungle so we weren’t bothered. "

"This is a great boutique resort ideal for couples. Those with kids may find other places a better fit (El Silencio for example). Intimate room setups with private hot tubs, excellent restaurant with live music during dinner, and a very nice pool setup for relaxing. The beds were super comfy and staff was wonderful. No view of the volcano but there is a sloth that lives up in one of the trees. For those looking for an intimate, relaxing setting, this is a great spot."

"Adrian welcomed and gave us several restaurant recommendations. The included breakfast was delicious. We had a great view of volcano Arenal from our room. The AC worked great, excellent water pressure in the shower. Hair dryer and toiletries provided. Unlike other hotels, there were hooks to hang your wet towel on. Located far enough away from the main drag that it was quiet at night, but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops."

"Great property and rooms! Felt like we (family of four - 2 adults and 2 kids (12 and 15) had a private space in the jungle. The hot tub was a nice treat after adventures in the area - ziplining (Sky Adventures was great), the waterfall (super close to this hotel), Arenal hike and hot springs (we went to Ecotermale). There was also a great restaurant right next door called Chante Verde. "

"We loved it here! Wonderful pool for the kids, tasty breakfast. The grounds are beautiful and loved seeing the volcano in the afternoon once the clouds cleared a bit. The front desk guy even brought me over to see a mama sloth with her baby that was spotted on the grounds. Loved! Would definitely recommend!"

"Very nice property to stay at while visiting La Fortuna. The pool is really nice and the free breakfast is awesome! The staff were very nice and everything so clean. It is easy walking distance to many restaurants. The only downside was the shower hot water was just luke warm. Although we kept forgetting to tell the staff, so that one is on us."

"Booked a “premium suite” and paid a premium price for a suite that has no dedicated shower. The shower is a handheld inside a huge jacuzzi tub with no shower curtain! Your bathing options are to fill and drain an enormous spa size tub or slip & slide on uneven jacuzzi seats spraying water everywhere. The hotel response “you booked a jacuzzi suite”. Apparently not an issue they fail to mention the suite has no shower. The grounds are nice but the rooms and resort are dated and frankly this...
