"The pool was nice, there were many different pools from kids pool, adult pool, and waterslides as well as a pool that overlooks the ocean. Was very beautiful. The grounds and the maintenance they do to keep it beautiful is astonishing. We had a great couples massage at the spa which was probably one of the best I have had. The food was good they can improve on different varieties rather than the same thing everyday, but still good. On my vacation I did however injure myself and no ambulance was called. I did suffer a concussion and possible face fracture waitin on my results. That part they may want to work on since I was past the point of sober. I feel their staff could have done more to assist me. All and all the resort was great. I do not blame staff for the incident, I just wish they would have called an ambulance to have me seen right after. Insurance or not( which I did have). Still have 4 stars because it was great there and I would go back again. "

"Overall my husband and I really enjoyed our time at the Riu Baja California! We had a king bed partial ocean view room. We had some concerns about our initial room but after raising it with the front desk they moved us the following morning to a room that better suited our needs. From there everything about our stay was amazing! The food was really good mostly at the Buffet, Steakhouse (Guacamole), Fusion (Krystal) and Mexican (Agave) restaurants! If you love Asian food I’d skip the Asian restaurant as it wasn’t really that good, the Asian buffet was much better! As for the pools, they were great, lots of room for all guests and the staff were very accommodating to asking for extra shade and umbrellas! The Riu parties at the neighbouring resort were so fun! Highly recommend going to any of them! Special shoutout to Oswaldo, Carlos & JJ from the entertainment team for making our stay so fun! Overall would totally come back to this resort and stay again!"

"We loved our stay at Sandos. The property itself is a really nice size. We really liked the layout and the architecture of the buildings being built right into the side of the cliff. The views at the top were spectacular. We especially enjoyed our mornings outside the Cupcake coffee bar. Every restaurant was delicious and the service was top notch. Our days by the pool were nice an relaxing with good energy coming from the entertainment staff and the great playlists! It is definitely not a party resort like some of the other larger ones in the area, which for us we a great thing, but if I was younger and looking for a great night life, it would be dissapointing. We will definitely be back! "

"Excellent location on the Marina. Very clean rooms and pool area. Lovely spa experience with my massage. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Didn’t do AI but few poolside things I had were good and breakfast at Los Deseos was fantastic, both the food and the ambiance. Nice change from restaurants blasting loud music "

"Great properyy, plenty of available pool chairs at least our week (early April). Had activities each day like pool games, bingo, blackjack, volleyball, etc. Kids things as well. We had a 1 bedroom that was nice with balcony. Food and drinks were good. Great fitness center. Things to improve - room cleaning came at different times, which did interrupt us a returning to room a couple times in one week stay. Property is big which is good but you’llget your steps in. "

"2nd stay at the Ridge at Playa Grande. Love the location, walking distance from marina. Staff is wonderful. Room cleaned very well by maids. Loved building A last year. We were moved to building E this time. We definitely got our steps in! Ridge pool was adults only. Would definitely stay here again. "
