"Our overall stay was good. My favorite part was the view from the pool. It is one of the best views I’ve seen. Ocean water was so blue. The room was as expected and room service came twice per day. The quality of the food was pretty decent however the eating options/ restaurants were limited and the app was very confusing. There are really only 2/3 restaurants on the property but they change the names of the buildings in the evenings. Staff were very friendly and helpful overall. The bartenders did not make consistent drinks if ordering thru a waiter but would make it to your liking if you got the drink yourself. Specifically, Jose and Louis took excellent care of us during our stay. One of my biggest complaints besides the food would be the bar opens at 10am and closes at 5 by the pool. The pool also closes at 8pm so we never got a chance to swim at night. Our ac worked decent but wish it got a little cooler. I enjoyed my stay but would try a different place if I returned."

"We recently stayed at The Club at Solaz Resort to celebrate my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary with our group of 15. We were excited to celebrate together, but unfortunately, our experience at Al Pairo was disappointing. One staff member told our group to be quiet, even though we were simply having a normal conversation and there was essentially no one nearby. We were seated spread apart from one another, so a group of 15 naturally needs to speak at a normal volume to communicate. We were not being disruptive or disrespectful; we were celebrating a very special family occasion. Because of how the situation was handled, we decided to leave and eat somewhere else. Thankfully, the rest of the resort staff and management were wonderful. Once they learned what happened, they went above and beyond to make things right. They generously arranged for us to enjoy the most beautiful beach cabana, completely complimentary, including food and beverages. This thoughtful gesture turned a disappointing moment into a memorable part of our trip. We truly appreciated the way management handled the situation and the kindness shown by the rest of the staff. One unfortunate interaction did not define our stay. In the end, we really enjoyed our time at the resort and left with wonderful memories of celebrating our parents’ 50th anniversary. Every stay can have a hiccup, but what matters is how it is handled—and management certainly stepped up when it counted."
