"Lovely big room and cool too with the current heat wave, everything you need and shower was good too and room was clean Comfy bed and we slept so well and very peaceful during the night coukdnt hear no traffic and we had the window open Breakfast was help yourself to cereals, croissants, yogurts and fresh juice at the bottom of the stairs and we enjoyed this. A few teething problems as we attended after a revamp, staff were very keen to help attend to these. "I really enjoyed my one night stay at Y Pengwern. The bar was friendly when we checked in, and when I was shown my room was amazed at how big it was. I was backpacking and there was plenty of room to reorganise my kit, and the bed was large and very comfortable. After a long day's walk we were looking forward to food, and were very happy with the big hearty meals we had in the restaurant. "Staff were by and large very helpful. A request for boiled eggs was treated very poorly at night but at breakfast it was no problem. Room very good but odd bits dusty. Bed large and comfortable. False alarm at 2.30am not only not welcome but not managed well by staff member. Food only average. Decor lovely. Big car park. Wanted to like the place but of the 4 hotels in the group we have visited this was the worst."

"We booked this because of they offered a gym.. gym was great but didn't open until 8am Saturday and 9am Sunday. Breakfast wasn't until 8 so difficult to fit both in when visiting anglesy"

"Staff very helpful and professional . breakfast superb . Extra staff needed at bar at peak times . Room could been cleaned more thoroughly eg shades on bedside tables very dusty and fan was quite dusty too . Overall though we had a lovely stay . Will be recommending to friends snd family ."

"We had an enjoyable one night stay in the ground floor twin at Bryn Noddfa. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. From the moment we checked in, we felt both welcome and well-looked after by the owners and staff of this family-run hotel. We opted for the evening meal which was delicious as was the breakfast. "I was pleasantly surprised by the superb location and views. Everything about my one night stay was impeccable with a possible question mark over parking. I was lucky finding a parking space on the promenade but in season it might be a problem. "
