"Really nice grounds and private lodges. Hot tub was lovely. The lodge could have been cleaner - the blinds were dirty, there was dust on the light shades and dirt around the edges of the rooms. The boiler worked but it didn’t seem to warm up the main living area. We ended up putting the oven on and leaving the door open. The oven was electric (not fan) and the element was at the top so it burnt food before cooking it. Rich, the out of hours member of staff was extremely helpful and went out of...

"Nice place, very remote."

"Buffet breakfast was lovely plenty of choice and hot. Room was comfortable."

"Food is good, breakfast lovely, staff very helpful, bar is nicely set up, gym also very good. My room though, on the ground floor of what I assume is the older side, needs some tlc. Bathroom furniture need sorting out/screws tightened etc, shower leaked on the floor, door needs to be renewed."

"Excellent breakfast. Very comfortable room"

"The Jug & Bottle is a really well run establishment. Attention to detail in all things they do is a joy to experience. Our room was very well appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a good variety of choices and high quality. The staff were friendly and really helpful. Our evening meal could not be bettered. The menu was varied with a wide range of choices and the wine list excellent. Delicious food and wine and very good value as indeed was the cost of our two night stay....

"Beautiful location with the stream running in front. Located in a quaint village - it was lovely and quiet! Room was lovely and very spacious and breakfast was delicious. About a 45 minute drive to Llangollen which was a lovely place to visit. The check-in / bar staff were a little less helpful, including dinner service -...

"Staff ma"

"I had a pleasant stay at Rossett Hall . I only stayed 1 night d I was attending a family wedding. The room was spacious , very clean and fresh . The staff were pleasant helpful and welcoming. I didn’t have a cooked breakfast but enjoyed the cereals , fruit , yoghurt , juice and toast. I travelled by car but the bus stop is nearby for easy access into Wrexham or Chester. I recommend Rossett Hall for a short stay to visit the surrounding area."
