"The reviews had me a little worried but the property was absolutely fine! Elevators worked, room was clean, staff was kind, city noise was tolerable- over all great experience! City noise doesn’t bother me. We were on the 6th floor and sure- you hear alarms or sirens but it wasn’t a big deal. We were hardly in the room except to sleep and shower. We visited in December and the location was perfect. Great Irish pub next door. "

"I spend 100 nights a year in NYC and always try to stay at the New Yorker if it's available and reasonably-priced. I would stay there every one of those 100 nights if I could. It's clean, convenient, provides great service and just reliable. "

"The staff was amazing. The receptionist Brtty was incredibly helpful and informative. While we were out for the evening they surprised my son with a lovely momento of the show we had seen- far above and beyond our stay!! Breakfast was delicious- a variety and fresh fruit was perfect!"
