"Our stay at The Hampton Inn was very pleasant, from the lobby to the room, we had no complaints. The hotel is very clean, in all areas. The Continental Breakfast was great, they offer something for everyone which includes juices and coffee. "ALMOST NONE OF THE AMENITIES LISTED WERE AVAILABLE (except for the hair dryer). No breakfast (except a pack of donuts). Outside property was rundown, in an unsafe, transient area that may or may not have featured sex workers trolling about. Window curtains and lamps broken. Bathroom fan broken with motor bits (filthy) exposed. Microwave glass plate missing. Only good parts of the room, the mattress seemed new and linens were clean. Why did we stay? Because we prepaid and because EXPEDIA OFFERED...

"The guy at the front desk was amazing. He hooked us up with the best pizza place around and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Unfortunately at 3 AM I woke up to a room that was 78° and both my kids also woke up because they could not sleep. Being that I was in HVAC for 12 years I discovered the batteries in the thermostat were bad so I had to go downstairs to locate two AA batteries to replace the ones in the thermostat to get the AC to kick back on."

"The room seemed nice, although the hall to get to the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The room was pretty clean until I got up in the morning and noticed someone else's socks were in the sheets at the end of the bed. The area did not feel very safe to me. We were fine though. There were cameras on the property, and on the cars so it was fine. Police stayed in the area-next door and the gas station across the street at night. All staff was very friendly and accommodating."
