"I get that the Inn is dated; it has to be over 100 years old, so it's not like a brand-new hotel. Despite the wear and tear that comes with age, the room was clean, the bathroom was spotless, and the bed was comfortable. The only downside to the stay was that the wifi was practically nonexistent in our room. We were in the building across from the reception/dining room building, which had excellent wifi. Maybe a few quality boosters would help. But we will return; the Inn has a charm to it."

"It was a small Inn. No one bustling around. Quite. Panaramic view from my windows in the morning. Didn't see any deer. Dining room was small-1 large table and 6 chairs. Cozy. The innkeeper cooked breakfast. He asked the night before if I had any food allergies and what I might like to eat. He was very friendly. The room was very nice and clean. Internet access was very good. Had a private bathroom next door to my room. It was very nice, clean and modern. I felt comfortable taking a...

"Excellent staff. Fantastic breakfast. Quaint, romantic inn. We enjoyed our anniversary stay. A little touch up here and there would make it outstanding. Loved the cookies and the lobby. We would stay again. Convenient location to all the Franconia Notch sites."

"Great trip, delicious breakfast!,"

"It was the middle of October and the temperature was in the mid 30*F. No heat was on in the building, our room was extremely cold and uncomfortable. We didn't the next day! It was so cold couldn't take a shower."

"Heater was so noisy we couldn’t sleep. They need to bleed the lines before the first customers need heat in the cabin. Breakfast and the owners were excellent. "

"Appreciate the magnifying mirror and make up towel; offers shampoo, conditioner, body gel, body lotion and lip balm; has bathrobes; jetted large tub in addition to shower. Nice the fireplace works for both bathroom and main room. A nice breakfast included only between 8am and 9:30pm. Can also purchase wine, beer and champagne. Toboggan and snowshoes with poles free to use. You are best driving to a free shuttle or bus as the property is off the main road. Nice area outside room for summer use,...

"Nice place to be; on-site authentic sauna facilities; excellent service"

"Bud was very hospitable and overall great! Externally, very aesthetic and inviting. The interior can definitely use some TLC, but it really also depends on your expectations. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Très belle belle demeure ancienne. La propriétaire très sympathique qui faut de beaux déjeuners. Bon rapport qualité / prix."

"No TV, hair in tub, breakfast only cereal, overall unclean however view was very nice and owner was pleasant. They gave a good recommendation for dinner."

"It was my second stay there. Maybe not a 5-star hotel, but a very pleasant stay and nice, friendly staff. Will be back soon!"
