"We enjoyed our stay at Jardin over Christmas. The room was perfectly sized for two people. We appreciated the air conditioning at night and the bed was comfortable. Plus, how can you go wrong when there are sloths and monkeys near you! The breakfast is outstanding! Don't miss it. We had activities planned each day while we stayed and it was a great location to keep driving each day to a reasonable amount of time. We went diving/snorkeling in Uvita, hiking in Manuel Antonio, and white...

"Super clean, had everything in the kitchen. Good for a cozy couple. New floors, well stocked kitchen. Nice!"

"The price is decent. Room was clean. The place isn’t fully staffed after breakfast, but people there were very friendly. Breakfast was simple but good. Two main issues are that you have to bring luggage down and up a steep path with over 100 steps. My bigger concern was the chain link fence covered in fabric that obstructs any garden view from the balcony. As a point of interest the other side of the fence has some extremely high end accommodations"

"No AC, loud noises from street (lots of motorcycles), loud music from lobby (karaoke machine?), bed with no blanket (only top sheet), and bathroom out of TP and paper towels. However, hotel staff were super friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any inquiries. Decent storage in room closet. Area is secure (garage door and front door locked at night). Had a private room for 4 and it did the trick for a 1 night stay before early flight but otherwise would be rough. "

"I'm sorry, I have never posted a bad review, but this time I had to. I had a reservation, and when we walked into the place, the area was dirty, and we needed to wait for someone to greet us. The rooms were outdated and didn't look clean or comfortable. I walked in and walked out at the same time. I couldn't come back. The pics on Expedia had nothing to do with reality. "

"1.Rooms were not well maintained. Wall had broken paint, looked dirty and smelly. 2. It doesn’t have Air conditioning, so it’s was very difficult to sleep. Fan provided wasn’t good enough as it was very warm inside. 3. Breakfast is terrible. In fact I wouldn’t call it a Breakfast (2 breads and a coffee) 4.Limited/No parking, you will have to park on road. Felt a bit unsafe as it’s adjacent to downtown San Jose I wouldn’t recommend as you can get better hotel Options at the same price. "
