"The facilities are beautiful, but what truly distinguished the experience was the service, an absolute 10 out of 10. There is something about Dominican culture that lends itself naturally to hospitality. The staff never seemed to see obstacles; they saw solutions. A perfect example came on our last night. We were trying to decide between the French and Italian restaurants and asked the hostess which she preferred. Rather than choosing one, she simply said, “We’ll bring you both menus. Pick and choose whatever you’d like from either, or both.” That attitude characterized our entire stay. Whatever we asked for, they found a way to exceed our expectations. The pool service was outstanding, as was the food. The spa was excellent, and our room had a wonderful view and all the amenities we could have wanted. We were also assigned an individual named Carlos Barreto, who became our go-to person throughout the stay. He arranged restaurant and spa reservations and handled anything else we needed. When I misplaced my Apple Watch, Carlos even tracked it down through Lost & Found and got it back to me. That level of personal attention makes a difference. The one disappointment was the beach. Unfortunately, there is considerable sargassum. The resort diligently cleans the sand every morning, but much of the seaweed remains on the ocean floor,"

"The hotel is beautiful. The garden, the pool, the lobby and the rooftop were stunning. Marina Cap Cana is a great area to stay. Booked a courtyard room but the room in the photos on Expedia was not available. Personally the courtyard room that was offered I don’t think is good value for money as the courtyard is not very private in my experience. My experience was met with defensive and passive aggressive behaviour from a member of the hotel staff which was upsetting. The member of staff did apologise when I raised my concerns about the manner in which I was spoken to. Despite this the staff were kind and very helpful and I did enjoy my stay. I appreciated the use of the adapter and the recommendations for the local area."

"Very nice and large studio with a kitchenette that includes a sink, microwave, small fridge and a 2 burner electric stove. Utensils, glassware and some pots and pans provided. AC works great. Large bath. Very clean except for a dusty porcelain tile floor. Beachfront with great view, quiet and secure and conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport. A little far from where most restaurants are located so that a taxi or golf car rental is needed. There are however 3 casual restaurants within walking distance. There is a small grocery store within Cap Cana that needs a taxi or golf cart ride. A larger well stocked supermarket is located outside Cap Cana on the way from the airport. There are a large pool and a small kids pool."
