"Compering to Secrets Akumal where we’ve been before - this property is worse and we expected more from 5 star and 5 diamonds resort. Half of the staff was very nice and very helpful, the other half was pretending they don’t hear you. The property itself is not that clean (plastic cups were very often left for few days next to the pool, chips lying on the floor in lobby). The food in restaurants was very disappointing - especially the Hibachi experience. Concierge that was taking care of our building was great - making sure we enjoy our stay. Overall it wasn’t bad but we had higher expectations after visiting their property in Akumal, Mexico and Secrets Cap Cana didn’t live up to them so we don’t plan to return."

"Very nice and large studio with a kitchenette that includes a sink, microwave, small fridge and a 2 burner electric stove. Utensils, glassware and some pots and pans provided. AC works great. Large bath. Very clean except for a dusty porcelain tile floor. Beachfront with great view, quiet and secure and conveniently located 10 minutes from the airport. A little far from where most restaurants are located so that a taxi or golf car rental is needed. There are however 3 casual restaurants within walking distance. There is a small grocery store within Cap Cana that needs a taxi or golf cart ride. A larger well stocked supermarket is located outside Cap Cana on the way from the airport. There are a large pool and a small kids pool."
