Rooms are a bit run down, location is great for being so close to Cardiff bay. Staff are lovely and friendly and the bar is cosy. Breakfast was decent.

The Coal Exchange Hotel
Good for a reasonably priced stay if you go midweek. Bathroom in my room was a bit odd, had a massive jacuzzi bath with a rainfall shower head over it, no shower curtain or screen.The shower head needed a thorough clean so who knows what state the jacuzzi jets would’ve been in. Seems a very odd choice ...

Novotel Cardiff Centre
For the most part the hotel was great. The reception staff were great except for one member who was unhelpful and rude. There was a stain (looked like blood) on the under sheet and this member of staff on the desk seemed nonchalant. The restaurant staff were amazing at breakfast especially Lin.

voco St David's Cardiff by IHG
The location of the hotel was very nice and the staff were very helpful and friendly. However, the heating system was not functioning in the room whilst cold air was blowing always with a continuous noise even when it was off. Finding a parking spot was a pain, as there wasn’t enough parking spaces ...
