"The room was clean and decorated beautifully, the bedding and pillows were so cosy and soft and much needed on a cold evening! Staff were all friendly, polite and helpful. Had dinner which was worth every penny and a generous portion, and the same for breakfast. It’s a steep walk up to Port Isaac but not as bad as it looks, if you turn right at the car park at the top of the hill you can walk along a path with great views that leads to a nice ice cream shop. "We had a great stay at Haveners. Lovely room- well decorated with everything we needed. Hospitality tray perfect, high quality toiletries. View along to The Ship Inn gave a real cornish feel. We were delighted with the quality and options for breakfast. The lovely waitress who served us was warm, efficient and friendly. Perfect location in the centre of Fowey, on the river. "
