"We stayed for 3 nights to explore Skipton and the Dales. The hotel is situated a distance from Skipton centre. It is a pleasant half hour walk along the canal towpath into town or a 5 min drive. The hotel is large, with carpark and with various room styles. It fronts onto a busy road so best to ask for a back facing room with a window view. Our room was on the 5th floor up in the eaves, with a velux window, no view, and was very tired and outdated especially the 90s style, grey bathroom....

"Lovely quiet location, superb room in the cottage opposite the main pub. Food was lovely and catered for my gluten free requirements. We only stayed one night but would love to go back with our dog and check out the local walks for a weekend."

The food was excellent and the dining room service was excellent…..evening meal and breakfast. The views were incredible, the location was beautiful. "Sehr schönes Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Essen ist gut. Das Personal ist freundlich. Die Zeit zum einchecken ist mit 14 Uhr angegeben. Musste diesmal fast noch eine Stunde warten bis aufgemacht wurde. War nicht mein erster Aufenthalt dort und werde auch weiterhin dort übernachten."

Would have been good to have had more bottles of water (just 1 small provided) room was very hot with no fan/AC and the road noise was awful, not a very good night sleep."
