"This was our “splurge” hotel for our trip. The guy at the front desk was not friendly. Other staff were friendly. The restaurant was closed on tuesdays for dinner. Really? You have this amazing resort and you close the restaurant?? We arrived early and planned to use some amenities while waiting on our room to be ready. Went to the spa to inquire. "Staff in the front was nice. Property needs updating. Beds are uncomfortable. Bunk beds couldn't be slept on because they weren't sturdy. Floor was dirty a lot of dust. Overall they need to work on their cleaning detail. Homeless do wonder around area!"

"It’s a pretty standard place. Super walkable to the warf and lots of shops. I WILL say tho, for the historical rooms, the beds are EXTREMELY loud and there’s no AC but it was an affordable place and nothing insane to complain about. I’d do it again on a budget and the history on the place is very interesting. Parking was easy to find and the staff were no issue. "

"Staff were very nice, parking is always available. The towels were stained slightly but not the end of the world as they had plenty in our bathroom. The only real comment I have is that the walls are THIN, our neighbors were stomping and screaming at each other up until late in the night and we were unable to get in touch with the front desk. They eventually stopped but the walls are just so thin and you can hear stomping upstairs. "

"Place was perfect, was there on a golf trip, needed to have secure parking and they did, location was perfect, nightly sunsets on the ocean, food just around the corner, wildlife everywhere, could hear the surf at night, clean and the staff was very nice at check in and when i needed another coffee packet. Every time i go to monterey/pac grove/carmel i will be staying here. Thank you a ton for making my stay stress free! "
