"Not a pleasant experience. I booked 2 rooms for my family. The microwave was not working in one room, the pillows were all half size so we could not sleep properly, the breakfast items were not being refilled so a lot of items were out and we were not able to enjoy breakfast and the breakfast host was not at all hospitable. Probably would not be returning to this hotel and not even recommending to my friends."

"Chose the Hampton Inn Poway as an extra night on my birthday trip knowing that this isn't a fancy resort by any means but Hampton Inn always comes with great stays and calm environments. The stay started out ok with the gentleman at the front being very helpful and even offering an "upgrade". We got to the room to notice a musty smell from the AC being off. We were given a room with one bed instead of two and a pull out couch (no problem). When turning on the AC, the AC the entire stay could not...

"For how expensive it is, I was extremely disappointed in the pool and outdated rooms. The pools were not maintained when we went, the bar was closed when it said was open from 11a-5p. Beautiful landscaping & gardens surrounding the golf course though. Looks like an amazing place to have an event, but didn’t give me the resort-style ambiance I was looking for (that’s just my opinion)."

"Great place to stay in the San Diego area, located in a high-end neighborhood inside a golf club. The rooms, which appear to have been recently and tastefully renovated, are spacious, clean, and quiet. The welcome amenities (gummy bears and nuts) are a nice touch. We will definitely stay here again when we’re back in the area. The only minor downside for us was the lack of a full sit-down breakfast service, although there are plenty of places for breakfast just a short drive away."
