"overall its not bad....definitely good for a family however there's a few things I would like to mention that could have an impact for others wanting to book same place.
1. It's not the holiday Inn, its two separate businesses using the same building...some floors have hotel rooms, some have appartment rooms...I haven't see the hotel rooms so I cannot comment on that however I can say it feels misleading when you head into the lobby and they have elevators that are much fancier yet they tell...

"The location and self check in were excellent.
The view from the room on the Douro river was magical.
It would be helpful receiving detailed parking instructions ahead of time. Although available parking was far from the room and extremely expensive."

"The overall stay was good but I just wish the check in process were better that they could have inform us a little bit earlier before we arrive or checked in. I emailed them before arrival but they reply really late. We stayed there from Sunday to Wednesday and there's a change in the gate code to get inside the building. They never informed us. They told me to email me the new code instead of just saying it directly and I waited for their email which never came. So I have to call them and ask...

"Oh my goodness. This apartment was honestly the most lovely spot I've ever stayed while on vacation. Beautiful space in a wonderful location. I would definitely stay here again while visiting Porto. Check in was easy and staff was friendly. 10/10"
