"Hotel itself was great, however shuttle bus is hard to find, so ended up with a €33 bill for travelling 5 minutes in a cab. I tried to email hotel, but reply did not come back until the morning. Staff not overly friendly. All seemed rather cross. Wouldn’t harm to smile and welcome customers in a friendly way. Showers are lovely."

"Urban Hive Madrid was truly amazing! I booked this hotel for my solo vacation, and it was the perfect choice. The location was so central and made it incredibly easy to get around. It’s close to the metro and within walking distance of tons of restaurants, shops, and major sites. The rooftop pool was such an incredible added bonus! I spent an entire day up there and was truly in heaven—soaking up the sun and sipping on cava. ☀️🥂 I absolutely loved my room. It was so cute and aesthetically pleasing, while also being incredibly comfortable and well-equipped with literally everything I could need. And beyond the room, the hotel itself is beautiful and has such a great atmosphere. Last but certainly not least, I have to mention the wonderful staff. Everyone was so kind, welcoming, and friendly, and they truly made my experience special. Nestor, Flor, Pilar, Miguel Angel, Karen, and Beatrice—thank you SO much for making my stay amazing! ❤️ I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Urban Hive Madrid, especially for anyone traveling solo! 🇪🇸✨"

"The staff were friendly and helpful, and we really appreciated their hospitality. After a long day of sightseeing, it was nice to come back to a comfortable and welcoming place. The room was small and could use a little updating. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again on our next trip. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent clean hotel, room felt modern and spacious. The breakfast was very good, loved the fresh orange juice machine. Only thing I would say is location isn't ideal, it's quite far from the city centre but it was perfect for where the Shakira concert was being held."

"This was an excellent hostel style stay - you just need to have the expectation of hostel not hotel. The bed was small but comfortable - take ear plugs as you will hear the guests in the capsules nearby. The shared spaces were good - showers were down the stairs as were most of the bathroom facilities. WiFi didn't always work well in the sleeping areas which was an issue for the electronic key at times. Enjoyed having access to shared kitchen and eating spaces. We were grateful to not be assigned an upper level capsule as that would have been a little more challenging for us as guests in our 60's to access. All in all a reasonably priced stay near the Grand Via and we would stay here again."
