"The breakfast was delicious with house made baked items and a lovely staff and the room was spacious with well organized storage. There is a beautiful lounge living room with an honesty bar. It’s a great place to have a drink before going out to dinner. The hotel has few amenities but just enough in a city like Florence where there is so much to do. The front desk is staffed from 8-8 and are helpful. "

"Hotel Spadai was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Florence and Italy overall. Staff was welcoming, friendly and kind. We stayed in a Comfort Double Room and it was plenty of space for the two of us. Amenities were first class all around - we enjoyed a delightful spread for breakfast each morning and amazing drinks and included appetizers during Happy Hour each night. Location was perfect - within walking distance of Duomo and so many restaurants and shops. Hotel was very close to train station. We would definitely stay at the Hotel Spadai again on any future trip to Florence and were very sad to leave."

Donatella and the other servers were wonderful. The options were terrific…and tasted great. The only negative is the disparity between the rooms conditions and amenities. The single room needed painted and was tight—especially for spending $2500 for one week. The other rooms my family had were great and they had surprise extras. "
