George Albert Hotel & Spa

George Albert Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent
"The hotel was amazing. I especially liked NOT having an adjoining room, and the room was so quiet. Great that they had air conditioning too. All the supplies in the room were restocked every day. The sheets on the bed were of great quality, as were the towels. We had fresh water bottles every day plus there was a filtered water dispenser down the corridor."

"This was my third time staying at the hotel. It’s a good location with good links to Bridgewater, Western super mare and Taunton. Plenty of parking. The restaurant services a good selection of high quality food with plenty of choices as well as bar with an excellent selection of ales and ciders. The accessible rooms are a good size. Room 16 has a wet room with shower. There is only a hand rail. There is no shower seat and the toilet does not have any grab rails. The staff are very helpful and attentive. It was good to see the same staff as our previous stays last year. Looking forward to returning in the future."

"The hotel and staff were fantastic but the noise from drunk people using the drinking area on top of the room and opposite was not nice as woken with shouting/swearing late at night driving off in there loud exhaust car parked under our room window (not an official space either). Air con would be useful. Restaurant was lovely."

"All the staff were very welcoming and friendly especially Kurt and Jo Jo. We stayed in the comfort room which was ideal for overnight. It is pet friendly but we decided not to take our dog this time. We had a meal in the carriage which was fantastic and good value and afterwards joined the entertainment which was brilliant. They are not doing cooked breakfast at the moment but had a continental one in our room. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely be going back with the dog"
